Just In time Poster

The "Just in Time" principle is one of the pillars of the Toyota Production System, and one of the ideals of Lean manufacturing. Just in time systems are built around takt time, one piece flow and downstream pull. The aim of just in time systems is to deliver the right product in the right amount at the right time. The just in time system will also expose problems and wastes hidden by a traditional batch and queue system. This poster provides a visual explanation of the just in time concept, both as a practical teaching tool and as a reminder for improving towards the ideal. Laminated for protection against tears and environmental damage.
